An album from the Durham based 80's group Prefab Sprout called "Steve McQueen" features a nice 60's Trophy TR6C on the cover. A good look, and good music of that time. Ah memories...

I've been trying to determine which model of the Triumph this really is. Steve McQueen himself owned a Bonneville, but my sources tell me this is in fact a Triumph Trophy TR6C.
But I'm certainly no expert. Though I would love to know the exact model of this famous bike on the cover of my favourite record!
